• Apple Music Data: If you connect Apple Music, we may access playlists, library metadata, and playback-related information as permitted by Apple Music APIs.
• AI Input Data: Prompts or configuration inputs you provide to generate personalized listening sessions.
• Device & Technical Data: Basic device, OS, and app version data for stability and security.

How We Use Information

• To provide and operate core app features.
• To personalize music sessions and recommendations.
• To verify subscriptions and manage account tiers.
• To improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
• To comply with legal and App Store requirements.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Used for authentication, database storage, and secure backend infrastructure.
• Apple Music / Apple APIs: Used to access music library data and enable playback and sharing features.
• AI Services (3rd Party): Used to process prompts and generate playlist or session logic. Inputs may be sent to the AI provider solely to produce the requested output.
• Analytics: We use analytics tools (including Google Analytics) to understand usage trends and improve the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with trusted service providers strictly for operating and improving the app, or when required by law.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data.

Your Rights and Choices

• You can disconnect Apple Music access at any time through your Apple ID settings.
• You may request access to or deletion of your data.
• You can opt out of non-essential analytics where supported by your device.

Spindles is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
